This is the first day we’ve had no mission,  or anything we needed to accomplish.   It felt good!

  1. How can you have a dozen photos of a French village and not include a photo of the patisserie case? Are you not yet eating your allocated share of 2 French pastries per person per day?

    1. Sadly this little village has no bakery. We did hike over a little pass to the next village to get groceries, wine and a stop in their bakery.

  2. great photos! Those rolling hills look like fun,but I’m sure they are steep in spots. Bummer about the phone, Patti. We’ve been getting plenty of rain in the mountains, but the Rio Grande River is black from the ash flowing from the fires. Enjoy the mountains!

  3. hey, you two….thanks for the card!! while I won’t be hopping on a plan to NYC for another personal visit, I keep an abiding affection for “the girl”, and all of the other painting by Vermeer, in my heart.

  4. Haha . . . I’ve been waiting for an update.
Then I thought a little more about this village. Where you’re headed might have a lot fewer MickeyD’s. I suppose you’ll come out of the Pyrenees some day . . .
